Spring Exchange Received

I absolutely love my beautiful exchange from Conny!!!  She made this especially for me as she found out about my love of peacocks!  It is a pin cushion made with Zweigwart and DMC threads and she stitched a french chart.  She even finished it with delicate lace on each side of the design and lovely pins.  Thank you so much Conny, I absolutely love what you made me!!

I'm late!

I was late sending my exchange out but it is sent to a far away land! I had Carpal Tunnel surgery done on the 1st of May so finishing my project was delayed a couple of days. But is finished and sent,

Spring Exchange Received!

I received my spring exchange in the mail last week, I have just been slow in posting! It was so exciting to get air mail all the way from Great Britain (my girls were excited just to see the different envelope). My exchange was from Alison. She stitched a Blackbird design from Stitcher's Journey. I just love the pretty pink tulip, and the little scissor charm. There is also a cute little pocket on the back to tuck away stitching stuff in. Thank you so much Alison for a great exchange!

Spring Exchange Received

Last night I received this beautiful pillow by Laura, it has traveled all the way from Mexico.  It is a Bent Creek Designs.  Thank you so much for you extra attention on the pillow, she added a few ribbon flowers and some very teeny tiny buttons!

Winter Exchange Received

I came home today to find the mailman had brought me a nice surprise from Lisa S!  My winter exchange arrived.

In Lisa's note she told me this is from Mary Garry's "Ice Skating Party" chart.  She stitched it on 32 ct. Queen Anne's Lace linen with an assortment of DMC, CC and GAST floss she chose herself.

The words "Think Snow" are actually buttons!  I love how she chose to finish it into a box too.  It's wonderful!  It was very much worth the wait.  I love it!

Thank you so much dear friend for stitching for me and for coordinating this exchange.  I've got it proudly displayed where I can see it from my stitching nest!
